Bill Schnitzer is a successful business development and logistics executive having spent his entire career working for Fortune 500 companies. He has spent over 20 years working with businesses and management teams to improve performance. His business experience includes diverse industries as consumer products, specialty chemicals, and building products. His strategic insight and his pragmatic solutions have allowed him to help businesses in North America and Europe to reach and exceed their objectives. Bill is currently a partner and CEO of Quality Fabricators, which is a multi-million dollar in revenue clothing racks manufacturer with clients such as Aramark, Cintas, Disney, and retailers throughout the US. Prior to Quality Fabricators, Bill worked with Georgia Pacific/BlueLinx to improve the sales process and overall performance of the sales force. His leadership transformed the sales force from a commodity, cost plus focus, to a customer centric value added approach. This was done by working with many of the key sales people one on one as well as with the senior management by setting strategic direction for the sales force. With Georgia-Pacific / Blue Linx, Schnitzer was responsible for redirecting the efforts of the sales force (300+ outside sales reps and 600+ inside sales reps). Bill also developed the M&A strategy for Blue Linx. This key strategic initiative was lead by Bill whose team developed the process and structure resulting in two successful acquisitions and a pipeline potentially leading to multiple future acquisitions. Prior to working with GP / Blue Linx, Schnitzer had a successful career with ZEP Manufacturing, a division of Acuity Brands, a specialty chemical company with over 1500 fully commissioned sales people in N. America and Europe. He worked with ZEP in Canada, Europe, and the US for over 15 years in a variety of increasingly responsible positions including Regional VP. He also headed up the acquisition team for ZEP where several successful acquisitions were completed including one in Europe. Bill was primarily involved with developing the pipeline, negotiating the deal, and developing the integration plan on all acquisitions.
